BQ34Z100-R2:

For "Column on the right" do you mean clicking FW Version?. It returns 0006. And on the left under the bqStudio manually selected bq34z100G1, it reads 0100_0_06. Is that correct for G1? It won't auto detect the FW version at present.

I also ask because some of the Data Memory default values look way off like a couple register locations don't align quite right.

If this version of bqStudio will auto detect R2, I can upload that. If this chip is not G1, can I get that FW version?

I will also error if I try and upload a chemistry file.

Can the current version of bqStudio auto detect R2? It seems like I still need to manually select a non-R2 gauge from the list when I start the program.

It can, when you open up bqstudio what does it say next to Auto detected device? It is possible your device is in ROM mode.

It says 0100_2_02.

My choices on the next screen are "0100_0_16-bq34z100G1.bqz" and "0100_2_01-bq34z100.bqz". I installed what I believe is the latest bqStudio from the TI web site last week.

By the way, I can select either of the options above and get in to the fuel gauge. I just don't know which one is more compatible with the version of bq34z100 I have.
