Is there any peripheral reference design for 802.3af 13W with TPS23754? Due to board space issues,

if there are parts differences between 25W and 15W, the space may be reduced. Please give me some suggestions,

Output : 12V@1A(max) or 5V@2A(max)

Thanks for reaching out. Please see the suggestions below:

Suggestion 1: You can use TPS23753A's converter components or refer TPS23756. TPS23756 is similar with TPS23754 but has different VC UVLO voltage.

12V 1A: TIDA-00091 or PMP40514 (TPS23756), PMP8803 (TPS23753A)

5V 2A: PMP9175 (TPS23753A)

Suggestion 2:

You can consider using TPS23755 for 12V 1A and 5V 2A (if you have a sync FET you can use TPS23758 for 5V 2A). Compared to TPS23754, these two ICs have integrated primary side FET and error amplifier for PSR. So the BOM and space will be further saved.

We found reference design on 5V@2A, can we reference it? Which is the latest design?

Thanks for your updates.

The most recent 5V 2A reference design is TPS23758EVM (https://www.ti.com/tool/TPS23758EVM-080). TPS23758 is also newer than TPS23753A which has PSR and integrated FET, while TPS23753A does not have.

You can also use TPS23753A and TPS23753AEVM-235 looks newer.

Hi Gareth,

Do you mean continuous-conduction-mode?

TPS23758EVM (https://www.ti.com/tool/TPS23758EVM-080) uses a sync FET on secondary side. And with a proper coupled inductance, you can have CCM.
