LM5145-Q1: LM5145-Q1

Part Number: LM5145-Q1

Dear Team,

First of all, thanks for the continuous support.

Kindly find the attached Schematic file below for the reference. I am getting my expected output voltage of 24V with little bit variation, which is in milli volts, but the impacting parameter here will be the output voltage noise. The noise is coming around 5V spike, but actual ripple factor observed in the oscilloscope is 0.3V only. Switching pulse from the High side MOSFET is very clear and Switching pulse of low side MOSFET  is also almost clear but small noise is there. Kindly help with finding solution for decreasing the output voltage noise as well as to decrease the ripple.

Thanks in Advance

  • Hi Venu,

Go ahead and attach the schematic and a completed quickstart file. Note we have a 24V output circuit in the datasheet.

Also, ensure you are measuring the output ripple with correct probing techniques. Depending on the SRF of the inductor, some high-frequency noise may capacitively couple from the switch node to VOUT. Use ceramic capacitance at the point of measurement to remove this noise.

    Regards,

    Tim
