TPS22946: Discharge function on VOUT when the switch is turned off

Does the TPS22946 have a built-in discharge circuit that bleeds the output when the load switch is disabled (ON goes LOW)? If not, can you suggest a different ultralow power load switch that has a discharge function or can you suggest a circuit to add on the TPS22946 VOUT to discharge VOUT?

This load switch is controlling power in a battery application so I don't want to bleed the battery while the switch is turned ON.

What are your requirements for this load switch?

A good way to add the output bleed is to add a PMOS on the output that is connected to the ON pin. If there's no better load switch for you, could this work instead?

Hi Patrick,

This load switch is for controlling a battery-powered, low current power supply. I need a load switch that discharges the output when the load switch is disabled so that the downstream devices powered by this load switch will lose power quickly after disabling the load switch.

Does TI offer a load switch with specs similar to the TPS22946 but with an integrated discharge function?

Does TPS22916 work? It has low Iq but lacks current limiting.
