HI all,

I have a doubt that when OVUV fault occur then OVUV fault is detected by IC(BQ79654-Q1) but when OVUV fault disappear then how will IC(BQ79654-Q1) detect that OVUV fault is disappear now.

I mean that IC(BQ79654-Q1) automatically detect OVUV fault disappearance, if yes than how and what are the steps to configure this.

or i have to write my own logic for this.

Hello Sudhir,
Please refer to the FAULT_SUMMARY and FAULT_OV1 etc... registers. When a OVUV Fault occurs, these bits will latch until they are cleared.

My concern is that once OVUV fault normalizes (i.e. Over Temp event is not there), does FAULT_OV1 get clear itself?

Consequently, what happens to the FAULT_SUMMARY and NFAULT pins.

Hello Sudhir,

The fault will not clear itself. You will have to use the FAULT_RST register to clear the fault. The flag will be set in the FAULT_SUMMARY register.
