BQ25606: Vsys output voltage ripple is abnormal

Part Number: BQ25606

Hi

The input voltage is 5V and the battery voltage is 4.4V. After charging the battery, the Vsys voltage ripple is too large and the fluctuations are relatively large. As shown in the figure, they are the Vsys waveforms in the long-term range and the short-time range.

The schematic diagram is shown in the attachment. Could you please help me check the schematic diagram? Is there anything wrong with it? Where should we start to solve the ripple problem?

  • Hi,

When large Vsys voltage ripple occurs,

    1. What are the charger operating conditions such as VBUS (voltage at VBUS pin), IVBUS, VBAT (voltage at BAT pin), IBAT, VSYS, ISYS?

    2. "After charging the battery" means charging terminated or charging the battery?

    3. What is the VSYS load?  What does the VSYS load (ISYS) look like? How much current is it? Is it constant current?

    Thanks,

    Ning.
