LMG3522R050: Vsd looks bigger than competitor

Part Number: LMG3522R050

Hi team,

Our LMG3522R050 Vsd spce is bigger than competior (competitor is around 3V @15A).

Could you please explain the reason?

    Hi Hayashi-san,

    GaN devices don't have a body diode so when they conduct in the reverse direction the current flows in a different path than it would in a Si or SiC FET. This will affect our Vsd voltage drop.
