LP2951-N: undervoltage range : 5% define?

Part Number: LP2951-N

Want to use LP5951-N's under voltage function

refer to the datasheet below

If use 3.3V version, then the under voltage minimum is 3.254V *95% or 3.3V*95%?

  • Hello,

The ERROR functionality is not specified in a way that allows for a minimum calculation for the trip voltage. From the EC table specs, the maximum trip voltage for VOUT falling is 1 - 25mV/1.235V = (1 - 2%)*VOUT = 98%*VOUT, and the typical trip voltage is 95%*VOUT. Since there is not a maximum value specified for the upper threshold voltage, the minimum trip voltage cannot be calculated. Unfortunately, we have limited documentation for these old legacy devices so we can't provide characterization data for this.

    Regards,

    Nick
