As long as TS or VC0 receive a positive impulse, it will wake-up.
Wake-up circuits to provide this pulse can be created from a charger attachment. Albeit for a different device family, the bq769x0 boot switch alternatives application note may be useful here. Keep in mind that the absolute max of TS is just 2.1-V, so the pulse generated should be lower than this. I would recommend a voltage at or below 1.8-V and above 1.2-V (To ensure the part wakes-up).
If using VC0 for wake-up, the applied voltage can be higher as its absolute max is 6-V (Albeit recommended max is 3-V).
For an idea on how the turn-on could occur, here is a couple of wake-up circuits we have made (using a push button):
