Hello, We're currently conducting a thermal simulation for one of our PCBs in Simcenter Flotherm and need thermal characteristics for a few of your devices. If possible can you please provide the following parameters for the component listed below, or point me to the datasheets that contain the relevant information?

For UCD9244RGCT and UCD7242RSJ I couldn't find any thermal data except the Junction Temperature. If possible can you please provide the parameters below or point me to the correct datasheet that contains the parameter? I'm especially interested in the Rθjb and Rθjc values.

UCD9244RGCT
a. Tj(max) -> Max T. Junction (°C) = 125 degC
b. Tc(max) -> Max T. Case (°C) =?
c. Rθjb -> Resistance J/B (K/W) =?
d. Rθjc -> Resistance J/C (K/W) =?

UCD7242RSJ
a. Tj(max) -> Max T. Junction (°C) = 125 degC
b. Tc(max) -> Max T. Case (°C) =?
c. Rθjb -> Resistance J/B (K/W) =?
d. Rθjc -> Resistance J/C (K/W) =?


Do you have any detailed thermal models or Delphi models available for the device that is compatible with Flowtherm?

    Hello,

    Here are the thermal resistance numbers for the UCD7242.

    Theta(Jb) = 5.2C/W

    Theta(JC) = 7C/W

    Theta(JA) = 33C/W

    These numbers were derived using a JEDEC-standard board.

    UCD9244 is a controller and does not consume a lot of power. I will check for thermal data but maybe is not available.
