Regarding the safety mechanism SM44: IO supply voltage monitoring mentioned in the document TPS65313-Q1_SLDA046_Safety_Manual_V2,

Is the VIO_OV considered as a latent fault?

    Hi Khaled,

    Every safety mechanism is latent related. VIO OV monitoring as a single fault is not critical but if now the VIO has overvoltage but the monitor doesn't detect it, it creates a latent fault. So a combination of VIO voltage monitoring fault and VIO_OV creates a latent fault.
