LP8860-Q1: I2C control possible?

Hi,

Pls refer to below section of the datasheet.

Hello,

We powered up the IC but the boost convertor is not getting started up,

To be explained the mosfet on SD pin is not getting triggered and the mosfet on GD pin is also not getting triggered.

We also connected load on the output pins but even the boosting is not started

what should be done to make the IC boosting to get started up??

Let me confirm one thing, can you light on the LED with PWM input signal? Even you doesn't setup the right brightness with I2C, SD and GD will still work normally.

i tried to change the register values which are present in the register map section 
but the values are not getting changed.
i tried to change the data present on 0x00 address to 0xFF but when i read it back it again went to 0x00(default value).
what would be the issue.

but i can change the values in the eeprom section map and it worked well.
i can able to unlock it,change value and also i can able to store in NVM.

Should i need to keep on writing on the register in loop to retain the value or something else need to be done???
