LM3492: Can this part be used with lower LED current - 20-25mA

I have a design need for a 2 channel 16 string IR/RED Leds, this part seems to fit all my needs except for the current regulation

Here are the following parameters

Vf = 2.0V

If = 25mA

# of LEDs in series = 16

# of LED strings = 13

VIN min = 6.4V

No, the device can't regulate 25mA current as you know already.

You may look into other devices like tps61165 etc.

Hello,

When I look at the device you recommended TPS61165, it looks like the internal mosfet (1.2A) should be able to handle the output current of my configuration (13 strings and a IF of 25mA) but I did not see a calculation or a limit to the input current that I need to be concerned with. Is there an input current limit that I need to be aware of.
