Thanks for your reply. Yes, I saw this application report too. It doesn't explicitly say that the 33520 can be used in inverting mode which is why I asked this question. I am attempting to minimize my risk. If I design it in and it doesn't work, that's no good!
Do you think the risk is low?

Hi Bela,
All converters that are designed with GND referenced can be configured for IBB design. Instead of 0V for GND, the negative voltage will the "GND". So, yes, it is low risk.
