Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, BQ27427
Tool/software:
I'm running bqStudio 1.3.124 (and I believe that's both the latest stable and latest developmental build).
I'm using it with a bq27427 battery gauge.
Two questions:
1. In the Chemistry tab(s), bqStudio offers to install an OTP chemistry into the Battery Gauge:
I believe you've told Craig Shaffer (my associate) that this is an error on the part of bqStudio and there ISN'T any “OTP” Chemistry #3 that can be selected or stored into this battery gauge. Is that correct?
2. Along similar lines, when I use the Golden Image tab of bqStudio, I see this:
The tab offers to save an ot.fs file and, in fact, does so:
And the contents of this file appears to vary based on what I've programmed into the battery gauge.
But if OTP doesn't apply to this particular battery gauge, then the fact that bqStudio is creating this file is also an error and I should just entirely ignore this file, right?
(I'm just checking to confirm or deny my beliefs. And if these are, in fact, bqStudio bugs, I assume that they've been entered into your problem-reporting system, right?)
