1. if the PG function is not used, this pin should be left open. Do not connect it to ground;

2. Recommend adding a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor on the input side, and the Cin should be placed as close to the device Vin pin and GND pin as possible.

As mentioned in Datasheet, PG can be left floating or connected to AGND. So, is there any specific technical reason as per my design you are trying to point out or it is still okay if we keep PG pin connected to GND ??
