TPS1641: Question about design calculation tool

Tool/software:

Dear TI experts,

My customer checks TPS1641 design calculation tool.

Could you explain the parameters below and how can I set these values?

1. Icharge_req = Charging (inrush) current desired in the system = default is 0.10A

2. RIstart = Load at start-up (Enter an equivalent resistor value) = default is 100 ohm.

    Hi Chase,

    Icharge_req is the amount of current you want to limit into the load capacitance during startup.

    RIstart  is the resistance of load.

    If load is not resistive, you can calculate as follows. For example load turn-on at 10V and draws 0.2A then RIstart = 10V/0.2A = 50 Ohm
