LP5866: Device functinal modes (sequence time)

Part Number: LP5866

Tool/software:

Q1:How long after power-on should EN=H be set?

Q2:What is the time between sending software reset RESET=FF and STANDBY?

Q3:Is there a power off sequence?

  • Hi,

    Please refer the comments below:

    1. It's about 550us after power on EH pin.

    2. It's about 250us after sending reset command and enter into STANDBY.

    3. Actually, we don't have any power off sequence. Do you have any concern on it?

I'm Sorry.  Our explanation was inadequate.

    about Q1 and Q2

    Q3

Q3-1 .Is it safe to PowerOFF with EN=H?

Q3-2.Is it safe to turn Power OFF with Chip.EN=1?

  • Hi Shimada,

In fact, we did not divide it very carefully, because it was a short time.

Actually, when the EN pin pull high, it means the device enter standby mode from shutdown mode, the time is about 550us.

Then, when write the chip_en bit to 1, it means the device enter normal mode from standby mode, the time is about 250us.

For the power off, I think both methods can work and I think there is no problem.
