I have a 48V-7V DC-DC implementation using the LMR16006. After the initial transient, the datasheet specifies a -0.3V max from SW to GND. My understanding is that on the off cycle, the SW to GND voltage will be equal to the forward voltage of the diode. In my application, the schottkey diode has a Vf of 700mV, which violates the absolute max rating. I wanted to make sure I understand this correctly and see if you think this is cause for concern. So far the supply has not had any problems.
