Hi,

We receive a brand new EVM and without changing the Jumper Positions.

Without Load on the Outputs, EN1 and EN2 are connected to 3V3, we supplied the Vs with 24VDC, the Output increase to 24VDC (High), but when change the Position of the ENx Jumper ( ENx = GND). The OUTx still 24VDC (High).

Are there other setting, which be done to be able to turn off/ on the OUTx?

Additional information,

by ENx= 3,3V --> OUTx = 24,40V

by ENx=GND --> OUTx = 24,05V

I Think the EVM is defective.

Please confirme.

Hi Bellatreche,

Can you confirm this is the jumper you pulled up to test the device?

Did you read the voltage to be 3.3V on EN using a multimeter?

Please add a load to the output and see if the issue persists.

Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you for your reply, Yes I confirm that the Jumper are there, and when I change the Jumper from High ( ENx = 3V3) to Low (ENx= GND) , Nothing happend with the Output.

I sew the signal with Oscilloscope, ENx change from 3V3 to 0V but OUT still between 24,05V and 24,40V.

I used resistive Load :

1- 120R ==> ENx = GND result OUTx = 0,5V (Conditional OK )

2- 10K ==> ENX = GND Result OUTx = 6V (Not OK)

with ENx = 3V3 result ist 24V ( OK).

Hi Ab,

In that case, I expect the output is being pulled high due to it's integrated open-load pull-up.

This is used to detect for an open load condition on the switch by pulling the output voltage high when there is no load.

In order to see no voltage on the output when EN is low, a load will have to be connected.
