Hi TI Team,

Please provide the simplis model of the UCC21520 driver IC. In the e2e forum, I downloaded the simplis test circuit. Which is running no issue. But when i add this circuit to my full bridge DCDC converter circuit, it shows

below error. If you provide the model or the same test circuit, how can I use it in my circuit?

Hi Kubendran,

We are trying to replace the UCC21520 with the UCC21550. Can you try and see if this PSPICE model is compatible with Simplis?

Thank you for your reply. I tried to import in simplis simulation. After imported it was shows multiple times in component library instead of single component.

Hi Kubendran,

Those are the internal sub-circuits. Can you just select the UCC21550-Q1? Hopefully it will know to put the other circuits inside the main model.

Dear Sean,

I can import into Simetrix. Gate driver alone is working fine in simetrix simulator. But my main DCDC converter simulation has been implemented in simplis file format. Can you help me get the file to work in simplis flat form?

If i add the UCC21550 to the simplis simulator below, an error would exist

I have not yet made a Simplis model, but they are not very detailed. For now, you might be able to abstract the gate driver in your current simulation with a simple block such as a time delay digital buffer.
