Hello Ti team, I have learned how to use GUI tools through the GUI user guide, but I do not have the MSP-EXP432E401Y development board firmware that is compatible with GUI tools. How can I obtain this firmware?

Hi Wen,

Why you would need firmware for? GUI is used to define NVM configuration and control EVM which has MSP432 device on it as bridge between GUI and PMIC. Firmware on MSP432 is not intended for any other functionalities of GUI.

Hello Wen,

We do not recommend using the MSP432 launchpad to work with the GUI as it doesn't have the hardware in place to readily communicate with the PMIC.

There have been issues with customers using the launchpad only to find that communication breaks down during flashing of devices, if you need to flash one of the PMICs, please order TPS65941111 or TPS65941212.
