BQ27Z561-R2: Voltage Calibration methodology

Part Number: BQ27Z561-R2
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ35100, , BQ27Z561

Tool/software:

Hello,

Im currently working with the bq27z561-R2 device and bq35100 device. I've calibrate both voltages with an open circuit load (current = 0), The voltage reading looks good/accurate in the open circuit condition but does not match what I measure in the non-open-circuit (current flowing) condition.

for the bq27z561 At 345mA I measure 2598mV with a multimeter...but measure 2146mV with the gauge...I this going to be accurate enough? Note a power supply is utilized. I've seen variance in the bq35100 case as well (may be not as pronounced).

I was peviously reassured the calibration should occur in a open-circuit state...Is this still true?
