LM4050-N: Similarity design question in regard to LMLM4050BIM3-2.5

Part Number: LM4050-N

Tool/software:

Greetings, I have a few questions in regards to LM4050-N, specifically LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB.

I am seeking a replacement for the LM4050BIM3-2.5 from National Semiconductor (Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code 27014)

From my research, Texas Instruments had acquired National Semiconductor in 2011 and acquired the rights to manufacture LM4050BIM3-2.5 from them
I see that in the Texas Instruments website that they have LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB, and the fabrication location is in Richardson TX.

So my questions are:
1. Was this Fabrication facility (in Richardson TX) acquired from National Semiconductor during the merger?

2. If it was, has there been any changes to the Fabrication line?

Thanks in advance
