Hi,

Is the specification in the datasheet (or from our bench tests) only the current draw of the device or does it include the current draw of the iso device connected to the 5V LDO?
Is this a "simple" linear regulator so we can add up the current drawn by the iso device to the current drawn of the driver?

Hi Franziskus,

The figure in the datasheet does not include the current draw of the digital isolator, it is done on the low side device without any isolator connected to the device.

Yes, you can add the current draw of the digital isolator + the current draw of the device from the datasheet figure.

do we measure the current consumption of the devices during/after production?

Is it possible to bucket devices and provide customers with devices with a certain maximum current consumption?
