TPS22811: Inquiry about loads switches that as current measuring capabilities also

Hi everyone,

I am looking IC that has both functions of load switch and current measuring. It means single IC should able to do load switch operation and give current information.

Operating parameters :

Voltage : 24 V

Current : 8 A

Voltage : 5 V

current : 8 A

Please let me know if you have any part related above one.

For #2, I would recommend the TPS22811.

For #1, none of our load switches would be able to meet the 24V requirement. I would recommend looking at the TPS1HTC30-Q1 high-side switch.

For #1, you can also consider TPS25980/TPS25982 or TPS25983 (better thermal so provide high voltage and current capabilities). These are from same eFuse device family but with different current rating.

The TPS25980/TPS25982 EN/UVLO pin can be controlled through a micro controller instead of using a potential divider?

Also I am planning use most of the ti components in my design for different application. So, shall we have a small meeting with you for better understanding my system and suitable ti parts ?

Yes, it can be controlled using uC but ensure that it is not floating.
