BQ24610: Battery MOSFET

Tool/software:

In BQ24610 there is battery MOSFET which connected to system. Body diode of that MOSFET is forward bias, so won't it always connect the battery to system via that diode. Whereas the battery should come into picture only when adaptor supply is gone.
