LMR38025-Q1: LMR38025-Q1 no-load current is very high, i.e., 10 mA.

Tool/software:

We are using LMR38025-Q1.

The no-load current is very high, i.e., 10 mA. Below are the key values of components

  • Input Voltage: 24 V
  • Switching frequency = 400 kHz
  • Inductor L1 = 15 uH
  • R FBT = 50K
  • R FBB = 10K
  • RT =64.9K
  • Series resistor for PG = 10K

Is it because of FPWM mode?

    Hello Kapeesh,

    Thank you for posting.  The experts of this device are currently out of office.  I studied the datasheet and I think you are right about the FPWM mode.  If you want to achieve low Iq under no load, please use the PFM mode version of the device.
