Hi team,

My customer is going to evaluate TPS65987EVM but they found that they need a separate board to connect to the red circle below to use the Display Port input/output of the TPS65987EVM. Does TI have such a board?

If a customer wants to test the Display port of the TPS65987DJEVM, what would you recommend? Do customers need to design a board to connect to the red circle in the previous diagram? Or is there something that can be easily obtained?

Hi Taito,

They would still be able to evaluate Displayport without an actual display on the TPS65987 EVM. Please see this application note on how to configure DisplayPort capabilities in the GUI and the expected successful PD messages.

My other suggestion would be to use the TPS65988DJEVM if they want to fully evaluate DisplayPort with an actual Display.
