Tool/software:
When the battery is removed is it possible for VBUS to be driven onto the battery pins of my battery connector? Enclosed is a schematic clip from the datasheet with an arrow to call out the node in question.
The reason for the question is to determine if there needs to be additional circuitry to keep VBUS voltage off of the battery connector when the battery is removed.
