Tool/software:
The thermal shutdown function is explained in the datasheet as follows:
"The junction temperature (TJ) of the device is monitored by an internal temperature sensor.
If TJ exceeds 170°C(typ), the device goes into thermal shutdown. "
Also, the absolute ratings state that the maximum junction temperature is 150°C, which seems inconsistent.
Which one is incorrect?
