TPS65987DJEVM: artwork drawing

Part Number: TPS65987DJEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65987, TPS65987D, TPS65987DDKEVM

Tool/software:

Hi team,

The customer evaluated the TPS65987 using the TPS65987DJEVM, and they are considering making a new evaluation board to conduct further evaluation. Therefore, they would like the artwork drawing

regarding  TPS65987DJEVM. Could you please provide the following information?

- Artwork drawing for the TPS65987DJEVM

- Artwork diagram and bill of materials for the DisplayPort expansion board (I found the circuit diagram on E2E https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/837508/10g-expansion-evm-10g-expansion-evm-schematic)

Thank you for your help.

  • Hello Taito-san,

Unfortunately we are no longer offering support for the DP expansion board. Are they just wanting to look at the schematic? Or are they also wanting to evaluate hardware?

Also, would you be able to share some information on the customer system and its requirements? Just want to double check that the TPS65987D is the correct device to propose

  • Hi Adam,

Unfortunately we are no longer offering support for the DP expansion board. Are they just wanting to look at the schematic? Or are they also wanting to evaluate hardware?

The customer does not need TI's DP expansion board, but would like to have the layout information of the TI DP expansion board as reference for designing their own expansion board.

Also, would you be able to share some information on the customer system and its requirements? Just want to double check that the TPS65987D is the correct device to propose

Sorry, the EVM was TPS65987DDKEVM to be exact.

I'm resending the email thread in which I previously consulted with BU members, including you, about this matter.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Taito-san,

Thank you for the clarification. I emailed you the design files for both EVMs.
