Hello, I've used the LM5149 for a design of a variable buck converter drived by a DAC. I was wondering if the hiccup mode current limiting can also protect from short circuits. From my tries the buck survives if the short has a low duration, but if i keep the wires shorted both mosfets and the LM5149 dies. My specs are:
VIN: 54V
VOUT: 50V-0.8V
IOUT: 15A
With dual-phase mode to reach 30A.
