Hi team，

The customer is considering making the LM25830-Q1 and LM25846-Q1 schematics compatible. I found that there are some differences in the design. How should the customer deal with Pin 10 (LS_GD) of TPS25846-Q1 and TPS25840?

Hi Alan,

My understanding is the 2.2k is required to keep the USB data switches enabled while 840 is in average current limit operation. A fix was made for 846 that removes the pullup requirement.

Ideally, if 846 is populated, I think we depopulate 2.2k. But if we can't control the 2.2k status based on which IC is installed, I believe having 2.2k present with 846 is okay. I am going to check this on an EVM. I don't have any on hand, so I had to order new samples. I will provide an update after the boards arrive.
