LM63615-Q1: +/-1.5% tolerance includes resistor tolenance

Hi team,

I am looking for a automotive battery input to 8.5V output with 1.5% output voltage tolerance for 400mA output.

Most of the high accuracy DCDC converter achieve 1% reference, but it cannot meet total 1.5% tolerance even if I use 0.5% tolerance resistor divider.

Could you please advise if there is +/-0.5% tolerance DCDC converter (Adjustable out) or +/-1.5% fixed 8.5V output converter?

Or is there tracking WVIN DCDC converter?

Hi Tsujji-san,

Why do they need such a tight tolerance? Is this the right application for a buck? Does this spec include a load transient?

I have the same question and asking the background and any chance to relax.

But in a mean time, I would like to know any solution TI has.

Hi Tsuji-san,

Hmm most of our parts have 1% tolerance on min/max values of VFB. Which would add to the 0.5% tolerance of the resistors that are being used.

They may be able to achieve solid results with lower FB resistance values (RFBT + RFBB = 5K).
