hello, we designed bms with bq76pl455. Now I have a code that I wrote based on examples on the internet. I can read and balance voltage according to this code. However, there are parts of the balancing section that I do not understand. When we examined the data sheet, I could not see this part. Can you help with this

    Ahmet,

    We do not recommend designing new systems with the BQ76PL455, as the part is out of date and support will be slow. Please consider using our more modern devices, such as the BQ79616. 

    The code you have shared looks like code that checks if the cell voltage is at the desired level and either continues discharging or stops discharging. I do not know this code and I cannot really speak on how it works. You can check the command protocol in section 7.5 of the datasheet, the passive balancing in section 7.3.7, and the register map in section 7.6.
