TPS2560: difference between TPS2560DRCR and TPS2561ADRCR

Part Number: TPS2560
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2561A,

Tool/software:

Hi team,

What is the difference between TPS2560DRCR and TPS2561ADRCR? Are they the P2P device?

What is the difference between DRC and ADRC?

BR,

Comi

  • Hello Comi,

You are basically comparing two product families:

    1. TPS256x
    2. TPS256xA

The TPS256xDRCR and TPS256xADRCR are P2P. However, the TPS2560 is active low and the TPS2561A is active high.

The DRC at the end of the OPN refers to the 10-pin WSON package name.

I've reviewed their datasheets and functionally, they are basically the same device. Their abs max, recommended operating conditions, electrical characteristics, typical characteristics plots, and are all the same.

The two differences I found are

    1. The MSL (moisture sensitivity level) Peak Temp. The TPS2560DRCR are Level-2-260C-1 YEAR and the TPS2561ADRCR are Level-1-260C-UNLIM.
    2. The Fab locations

    Hope this helps,

    Seong
