Are you saying we should buy a TPS923655EVM and then we fit a LP8865X, or can we buy a TPS923655EVM  with a LP8865X already fitted???

The LP8865XQDMTRQ1  and the TPS923653DMTR look to have identical specs. Is it better to use the LP or the TPS?

Which application you are used?

Boost mode. Vin=24V.  6 LEDs with a Vf of 6.0V - 7.5V (boost to 45V). LED current of 320mA - 500mA. Analog dimming.

Sorry, misunderstood. It is commercial. So I will use the TPS923653DMTR.

If I use the TPS923653 with a LED string of 50V, the resistor ratio (Rovp2/(Rovp1 + Rovp2))  for OVP to be be below 1.1V CV threshold would be 0.022. If I then had an open circuit LED, the led voltage would reach (1.45/0.022) 66V before OVP reached the 1.45V shutdown voltage. This would put 66V on the CSP and CSN pins which is above the TPS923653  device spec and would damage it? Is there a max LED voltage string that the TPS can correctly work with and still be safe if an LED went open circuit?
