Hi,

I'm looking for power supply protection IC which should have overcurrent protection, over voltage protection, reverse voltage protection. Below are my design values

Vin = 22V, max load current = 30A. Muy question is that LM5069 can be used for my design values?

Hi Kunal,

Thanks for the reply. I have some queries

How to set current limit in LM5069. I understand there are individual pins for voltage threshold setting but there was no pin dedicated for current limit setting. For example, our system load will take 25A in ideal condition. Load should be disconnected from input if load current is above 30A. For that what needs to be done?
If Overcurrent or Undervoltage or Overvoltage scenario happens, LM5069 will turn off gate pin of mosfet to disconnect load from input?

Hi Akilarasan,

1. You need to set current limit as 30A to get such response. Current limit is set based on RSENSE. This calculator will give you more idea.

2. Yes. GATE will fall. Please refer 9.2.1.3 Application Curves in datasheet.

Can you suggest mosfet which can be compatible with LM5069 for our application

Vin = 22v and ILoad = 30A.

Hi Kunal,

We are planning to use CSD19536KTT N-Mosfet in our circuit. But my doubt is whether one CSD19536KTT will be enough to handle the power or should I increase no of mosfets because I'm getting this error in excel
