REF4132: Pin 1: can it be connected to Pin2 (GND) or not?

Another forum poster was recommended to use REF4132 instead of LM4132 because "you can connect Pin 1 to GND".

I have checked the FMA (ref. SNVAA08) and it says: (Table 4-4) Pin FMA for Device Pins Short-Circuited to Adjacent Pin: "N/C 1 - GND: Could affect functionality. Pin not internally connected to GND."

So which is it...?

Hello Tim,

I apologize for the confusion on this point. I can confirm that pin 1 of REF4132 can be grounded without affecting device performance. SNVAA08 will be updated to accurately reflect this.

Also of note, REF4132 (left) and LM4132 (right) are pin-to-pin, but I would not recommend grounding pin 1 of LM4132.
