LM62460RPHEVM: TIDA 020047 power management

Part Number: LM62460RPHEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM62460

Tool/software:

Hi

I'm working with TIDA020047 board, but i need to power on my TIDA020047 with 24V instead of the recommanded input power 12V. so should I modify the refernce design of TIDA020047  as it mentioned is the refernce design of the LM62460 LM62460RPHEVM EVM User’s Guide (ti.com) to protect my circuit and working safely. I would like to menstion that i power on the board from Fuse box of electrical truck (24V with max load dump of 29V ).

Please advice.

Regards

Amine

  • Hi Amine,

The reference design seems to allow such an input condition without making any changes to the board. However, I would ensure that you use capacitors and an inductor that can withstand your requirements without de-rating.

    Best,
