bq27510EVM communication problem with bqEVSW

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQEVSW, BQ27510EVM

Greetings,

I am trying to communicate Evaluation Board bq27510EVM with bqEVSW.

I can read DataRAM registers' values successfully, but while trying to read DataFlash - values of all registers are 0 and while writing I get messages such as "Error writing DataFlash",  "Error reading DataFlash Subclass OCVa1 Table, Code=772", and text in status bar " No Acknowledge: VB_T2H_NACK".

Thanks in advance.

  • Is your gauge in SEALED mode?  If so, much of the Dataflash can't be read or written.  What are the FAS and SS bits in the Control Status register set to?  If they are both set then you are SEALED and need to unseal before reading or writing to the dataflash.

  • Yes, guage was in SEALED mode and FAS, SS bits were high. I wrote data 1404 and 7236 to 00 command via I2C Pro bqEVSW. Now SS bit is 0, FAS is 1 and i can read and write DataFlash.

    Thanks a lot,  dMax!
