Hi Team,

Can you confirm what the ERR pin will do with the TPS7B7701-Q1 if I enter a dropout condition where Vin<Programmed Vout?

To clarify for example if I have Vout set to 12V what will the ERR pin do if I only have a Vin voltage of 8V.

    Hi David,

    Dropout is not a fault condition for this device. The fault conditions and corresponding ERR pin behavior is shown in table 1 on pg 12 of the datasheet. For the specific case you mentioned, the ERR pin (active low) will stay at logic HIGH.
