Yes, BQ25730 is a multi-chemistry battery charger. You can simply set max charge voltage and charge current, then enable charging. It will charge the lead acid battery to the max charge voltage, and automatically transitions to the constant voltage charging.
You might need to terminate the charging operation when your target voltage is reached, by sending a command from a host or a MCU.
BQ25730 is a digital part, which relies on the host for communication.
