The TPS259804 manual shows that the Vin range is 2.7-24V and the OV is 16.9V.
Can this chip be used in 3.3V scenarios? Are there any risks? In addition to the OV function not taking effect, are there other functions that may be affected?
Hi Matt,
The eFuse will turn off if the Vin fall below UVP threshold (~2.5V). There is no other concern for 3.3V operation. You can choose TPS25980(2 or 3) variant for lower OV threshold.
