Need to validate the TPS51200 part.

Could you please suggest an important Testing parameter of this IC.

and also please provide any document regarding the same.

    Hi Bhuvaneshwari,

    The main advantage of this IC is its ability to sink and source current (3A) while maintaining DC accuracy at the output according to JEDEC specifications. These specifications should be noted in the datasheet on page 15. This should be the main performance metric you test since voltage stability is very important for DDR operation.

    Please share any document or a Testing procedure to validate the below parameters of TPS51200

    Vo load regulation

    REFOUT load regulation for all supported DDR types

    REFOUT source / sink current limit 

    REFOUT voltage tolerance to VREFIN

    tracking start-up and shutdown timings

    Hi Bhuveneshwari,

    If you want to test the TPS51200 beyond what is shown in the datasheet, you can use our TPS51200EVM.

    The tests you have mentioned are fairly standard tests that can be done on the EVM. We don't have explicit documentation explaining these test procedures.

    All the relevant material that you can use is located on the product page.
