Hello,
I downloaded the above part footprint from Ti site. Is the solder mask layer correct?
Should I enable mask cutout for pads fully?
Can I use this for Vin=60V and Vout=5V,600mA? How is the thermal performance at these numbers?

Hi,

The solder mask layer is correct, and I don't think you will need to modify the layer.

You should be able to utilize this at your operating conditions, and I don't expect the thermal performance to exceed part limits at 60V input.

Hi Saero,

The reason the module has higher temperature is due to the inductor included in the IC. The converter has the inductor external, which lowers the IC junction temperature. If thermals is very important, I would recommend going towards the LMR36506.
