TPS7A47: ANYOUT on the fly change

Hi team,

My customer want to complete a ANYOUT on the fly configuration, referring to our sbva035a application note.

We are using a I2C expander to control the ANYOUT pin, customer is wondering can they use a simple DRV777 to do the control?

Since the DRV777 the output pin have a diode up to com, which is not totally floating, if this is okay for our TPS7A47?

    Yes, this is acceptable to generate the I/O signals. I am not clear how you plan on connecting those outputs to control the TPS7A47 and why you need the I2C functionality (from the expander board). Please provide a schematic showing your proposed connections and control methodology for a more accurate response.
