Tool/software:
Customer would like to use High side switch to cut off the negative power loop between Battery(-) to Motor Driver board's GND loop as shown below. The MOSFET is put on GND loop.
Since the VIN pin of the LM5069 is separated from main power loop, when MOSFET and SENSE pin are connected to GND, and VIN pin bais power is from other supply, the device can operate normally.
However, it looks there is body diode of the MOSFET that could make leakage loop back to BATT(-) and causing bad battery lifetime. Is there any way to avoid this? Or and other purposal?
