LV5144: LV5144 Suitable for PoE PD Device

With the wide input voltage available with the LV5144, I'd like to use this as the DC-DC converter for a TPS2373-controlled PoE+ PD device. What concerns are there with this using the adapter ORing option 1 from the TPS2373 datasheet (section 7.4.11)?

Hi Tim, the ORing is just for redundant inputs, so it shouldn't affect operation of the DC/DC regulator. You might also look at the LM5146 in that controller family It's rated to 100V).

Yes, it's a pin-for-pin compatible controller family...LV5144, LM25145, LM5145/-Q1 and LM5146/-Q1. Just different input voltage operating range.
